Sponsored by the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC), the event is expected to be the largest conference in recent years addressing issues related to trade and investment between the US and Poland. Those invited to participate will include business and government leaders, media representatives and educators who have been active participants in, or intimate observers of, US-Poland trade and investment relations.
As an outgrowth and continuation of the PACC's annual Polish American Trade Show (2003-2007), the US-Poland Forum will build on the success and expand the show's contribution to trade promotion locally and internationally.
The event will include:
• plenary sessions
• panel discussions
• special topic seminars
• promotion of Illinois and of the Chicago area as a preferred destination for business and for pleasure, and
• promotion of investment and trade opportunities in Poland , its cities and regions
The Department of Trade and Investment at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington has deemed the Forum important with regard to the development of Polish-American trade and economic relations. Attendees and guests coming from Poland include voivodship governors, city mayors, representatives of regional development agencies, members of parliament, and entrepreneurs. Serious business promises to unfold in an energetic atmosphere and congenial setting to:
